Ever since I ate at Stiles switch bbq I have not been able to stop thinking about it! Every thing on the menu was absolutely delicious and this is by far my new BBQ spot. Not to mention the service was great super kind and friendly. I definitely recommend the corn casserole and Brussels spouts on the side. All the meat was to die for can't wait to go back!

My favorite quality bbq spot in Austin! They have the best corn casserole and most addicting Tater Tot Casserole. Their moist brisket is so tender and pairs amazingly with their lime chile bbq sauce. Their workers are very helpful and kind! One of them got us a to-go bag when he noticed we were almost done and cleared our table without us asking.

everything was great and fresh we were passing thru Austin and just randomly saw a bbq sign

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I've had my fair share of bbq but I gotta say this place is now one of my favorites. We ordered the chicken, original and cheddar/jalapeño sausage, brisket, St. Louis style ribs, mac&cheese, Brussel sprouts, corn casserole, and cole slaw. My god. Everything. ALL of it was delicious. Chicken, moist. Turkey: my goodness, MOIST. Ribs, a bit too much "off the rib" for my personal taste but my partner loved it; still one of my favs of the day. Both Sausages 5/5 though I regret to say I forgot to ask about the sausage of the month. Brisket, awesome "bend test" and packed w flavor. Sides: GET THE MAC N CHEESE, CORN CASSEROLE, and BRUSSEL SPROUTS!!!! so freakin good. Cole slaw was refreshing. If you love pickles, you will enjoy theirs. I don't typically try to get full from the bread but theirs is really good bread too. Service is fast, and very easy to order. Very kind staff. Music is a bit loud and kind of bounces around when crowded but part of the experience for sure. Loved our experience and will definitely make this a spot we must visit every time we're in town. Thank you Stiles!

Came here for lunch with three coworkers and split the Texas trinity tray which is supposed to feed 4-6 people. We had 4 people and had a little bit of food leftover so I would say it was good for 4-5 people but might not be quite enough for six. The food itself was so so good! The brussel sprouts were insane!! Perfectly cooked and had a sweet and spicy glaze that was so yummy. The jalapeño cheddar sausage and brisket were also some of my favs but everything was seriously awesome. The restaurant itself is super cute with plenty of seating and when we showed up there was a decent line but they had it moving pretty quickly so we did not wait very long!

Food was good. I don't love the flavor of the beef rib. It's just missing something. Cooper's beef rib is one my favorite things in the world so I was a lil remorseful about this one. The Mac and cheese is delicious. The service is super quick and the ambiance is old school bbq counter service.

This was my first Texas bbq and it did not disappoint. The pork ribs were definitely my favorite-- extremely flavorful and tender. The brisket was also tasty and tender and paired well with pickles, but the pork ribs were something else altogether. The Brussels sprouts were some of the best glazed Brussels sprouts I've had. $35 for this giant meal that fed 2 with leftovers is a great deal. The service was as excellent as the food. The guys serving the meats were incredibly friendly and added to the comfort of this place. The interior has much character with Christmas lights and lots of bbq themed decor. There is plenty of space to sit and it seats large groups well. This was a very enjoyable dinner and I would come again if I lived in Texas.

Came on the 4th of July! Parking was simple, line to order was fairly long but moved quickly. Everyone working the line was super friendly! Made ordering very easy. I'm not sure if I missed it, but it would be nice to have a separate register for desserts/drinks. I would've gone back up for a second beer if it didn't mean waiting in the line again. Now the food - delicious and fulfilling, but in a BBQ hot spot like central TX, the competition is just too high for this to be a 5-star meal. Brisket was pretty dry; the firecracker sausage of the month was really good but also didn't blow me out of the water; the bbq sauce was good but not memorable. Corn casserole was yummy, but when I added some chopped jalapeños from the accoutrements, it sent it over the edge. Would love to see a jalapeño corn casserole on the menu! My partner got both of the July 4th specials - Smoked Brisket cheeseburger and smoked hot dog. If I was rating off of this alone, it would be a solid 5 stars. The few bites that I had of both, plus the fries, were outstanding. Would definitely return for this, but would probably look elsewhere if I was craving barbecue.

BLUF: A clean, welcoming BBQ restaurant with open seating in which the meats are moist and flavorful, the side dishes are fresh and delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. This is the best BBQ I've had since moving to Texas a year ago. It's pricey, but it's worth every penny. My wife and I stayed at a hotel near Lake Travis to do some boating, and we were looking for a BBQ joint for dinner. We went to one near the lake, but they were out of all meats but pork butt. We drove another 20 minutes to Stiles Switch and were so glad we did. The restaurant's location is probably not the best part of Austin, and I was a bit skeptical based on the exterior. The colossal metal entrance door gives off a biker bar vibe, and I was a bit concerned as it opened. However, when the door opened, I was pleased to see an open-seating restaurant where you order, receive, and pay for your food at the same counter, similar to other BBQ joints in Texas. As we walked up, we were greeted by the manager, Jeff, who provided us with samples of sausage and turkey. The sausage was great, but I was most surprised by the moistness of the turkey. Juicy and flavorful, it was the best turkey I've ever had at a BBQ restaurant. I got a two-meat platter with brisket and sausage, a side of Brussels sprouts, and a corn casserole. OMG, the corn casserole is fantastic! The Brussels sprouts were delicious too, but hot damn, the corn casserole is so good. There used to be a place where I would get corn pie in San Luis Obispo, CA, and this is the only other place I've ever found it. This will be a part of our future Lake Travis boat trips!
